       Welcome to Long Island Stuttering & Speech Pathology Center. Our facility offers evaluations and individualized treatment programs for a wide variety of communication disorders, including: Fluency/Stuttering - Articulation - Phonology - Language - Tongue Thrust - Auditory Processing - Voice. All services are available for pre-schoolers through adults.

      We enjoy an outstanding reputation for providing the best speech and language therapy, as well as patient and parent counseling combined with respect and dedication. As licensed and certified speech pathologists, Lillian Agresta-Diaz, M.S., C.C.C./SLP and Susan Newton, M.S., C.C.C./SLP, both in private practice for 25 years, will evaluate you or your child’s particular communication needs, and design a treatment plan.

      As a service to those who visit our website, we have provided a Speech & Language Checklist for children, by which you can determine your child's abilities at various age levels. In addition, a questionnaire on the Warning Signs of Stuttering Behaviors can also be used to determine if a child should be evaluated for a fluency disorder (stuttering).
